Joanna Jodar, LAC, MTOM
Joanna Jodar is a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and certified in Facial Rejuvenation.
Her clinical experience includes working at various hospitals in New York such as St. Vincent's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases, NYU Medical and Lincoln Hospital. She has also completed clinical rotations in numerous hospitals in Beijing, China. She combines Acupuncture with other modalities such as herbs, moxibustion and cupping.
Laura Devaney, Dipl. O.M. , L.A.C.
Laura Devaney is board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, and is currently licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from AOMA School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX.
Laura is trained in the Traditional Chinese Medical style of acupuncture, and she also regularly utilizes Master Tung acupuncture techniques, including the Balance Method. She has experience treating patients of all ages, including pediatric patients with needle-free techniques including acupressure, cutaneous electro-stimulation, and Chinese medical massage (tuina). Laura is also trained in the NADA protocol for acupuncture detoxification, and she has worked with patients recovering from drug, alcohol, and nicotine addiction. Laura is committed to providing best-practice care to her patients starting with individualized treatment plans to bring the body, mind, and spirit back to a healthy, balanced state. She believes Traditional Chinese Medicine is a powerful tool that naturally promotes the body's healing potential, allowing for optimal health and wellness.
Bhumika Shah, Rph, RYT, ALHC
Bhumika Shah is a registered Yoga Therapist, who has been practicing Yoga for over 10 years, which includes Chakra balancing, use of Gemstone therapy, Meditation, Postures (from simple to challenging, for kids to the young at heart, limited mobility) and Breathing techniques. She is also a practicing Aromatherapist, with the foundation of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The use of blends created with organic and fair-trade essential oils, can completely alleviate the suffering from seasonal allergies, migraines, back, shoulder and neck pain, PMS, stress and anxiety (just to name a few). As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Health Counselor, certified by David Frawley, disease is treated from the root according each person’s unique constitution, allowing for complete healing. Ayurveda is literally translated to mean “the science of life.” With experiences in both conventional (Rph for over 13 years) and holistic healthcare, take her on your journey to a BETTER YOU!
